that's a shame

there are so many points that don't involve growing old with another person

like growing old with lots of people

seeing lots of things
experiencing whatever floats your boat

all these things can be enjoyed without a partner


and you are far more likely to meet a partner - if that's what you feel is your sole purpose

if you are out and about enjoying yourself

but if you'd rather just leave early , that is ultimately , your choice
