Do you ever feel like 70 years is too long for a normal human lifespan?

I'm only in my 40s, but already, I don't see much point or much to look forward to in hanging around another 20 or 30 years, growing older and watching myself, my capabilities, and my life opportunities decay with each passing year.
I think it would be more merciful and reasonable if the average human took a dirt nap at age 50 or so. Just because our modern way of life has enabled us to live to 70 and far beyond..is it necessarily a good and desirable thing?
I hope euthanasia is legal and readily available in the future. It should be a basic human right in an era with 7.5 billion mostly unnecessary people, especially with so much widespread misery, and the ever-continuing depletion of resources.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75868565 Thats why there is a medical problem. Old people want to stay alive for an extra decade while they are senile and immobile. Paying for all of that medication and care is breaking the system. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48730088 The technology in the pipeline such as ability to live virtually indefinitely which will be possible if you can wait another 25 years,, means that all diseases of ageing will be cured, no dementia, no alzheimer's, no brittle bones, no saggy skin, no cancer, no blindness, no deafness, no impotence. Please tell me you didn't actually think life extension technology was all about prolonging the life of frail demented impotent old geriatrics?????
