I tend to agree. He was a complete con trying to get out of his punishment. He told the interviewer what he wanted to hear because it was his last Hail Mary to escape his fate. Conning and scamming until his final breath, convinced he's smarter than everyone.

There is no solid evidence to support his supposed conversion to Christ. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

There sadly are some purely evil sociopaths.
