Water Dowsing

He did answer me by telling me what I settled on believing, and then he confirmed it. I didn't want to decide what the truth is for myself that's why I asked, and then soon after you see my next post telling what Jesus showed me, how it is a mockery of Jesus' miracle in the wilderness causing water to come out of the rock. Jesus Christ IS the ROCK of salvation, and water and blood did pour out of him for everyone's sins that we all may be reconciled with the Father in Jesus.

This is a true fact. Nothing to do with Jesus, unless you consider it is the wonderful way God made us, being electrical in nature.

Some people cannot do dowsing, by the way. Their electrical system is different.

I would like to trace the sewer line leading to my septic tank. Perhaps it would work. It would save a lot of extra digging.

Dowsing is not evil......

Some people are sensitive to earth energies and can feel the water,say,anyway.

The rods or stick or whatever just reveal answers that are easy to see....

Of course the talent could be used for evil just as practically anything else can be.

That is the choice of every individual soul ....aka free will....

When electricity was first discovered people thought that was evil.....not that I was alive then ,joke, but Ibonce saw a play or documentary about it .....

With finding water ,a downer told me ,you have to find a spot where there are several flows or more at different depths so the water doesn’t run out in summer.

You can do this by asking questions once you have located a suitable place.

It is wise to keep the well a good distance from drains and get the water tested to check it is safe....

We had a well put in a few years ago and the company who did this had a downer to find out where.

The first dowsers here were brought over from Germany in Richard 1 time to find minerals to mine.......

This means the medeavil church must have thought it was ok too......

Not everything that you can’t see is bad and as I said it is not the skill or object that is bad but if it is used to do bad things it is that person who is bad .......they are responsible.......just as knives are useful as we all know but in the wrong hands that can be lethal ...yet surgeons use them to save lives.......

Not at all I've had two wells. Both were dowsed. Wouldn't have it any other way.

In the arid west it's a good idea. Don't know about anywhere else.

Not everyone can do it. Its known as the gift if the "water witch".

There are many videos on YouTube that should help get you started. For me, it's very important that I keep my mind focused on what I'm looking for, otherwise the rods seem to default to finding water.

A skilled dowser can ask the rods anything and get a response. Telling you the depth of the water and the flow should be no problem.

Those who are good at it can tell the volume of water, its depth and whether one water course is flowing over another

Donovan the diviner used something similar to Newton's wheel to find depth.

Way back in the 70's & 80's I have seen the older people who worked with a water utility company use this method to locate water lines without tracing wire. It worked.

Donovan showed me how to dowse....back in the day......

I dowse for gold,silver and gems and find them about 83% of the time, and have made a FORTUNE doing it. Sorry about your friend's bad luck/lack of skill. People that are succesful doing this obviously aren't going to share the specifics, heh.

We had a pipe leaking in our yard a few years ago. My husband made a set of dowsing rods with coat hangers. I was very, very skeptical, but went outside with him to watch. He knew approximately where the water line ran, but the leak could've been anywhere along the pipe ... approximately 50'. He walked around a minute or two, and the rods crossed. He backed up, and the rods straightened. He moved forward again, and they crossed.

I was thinking "Yeah, right. He made the rods move, and he's just messing with me."

He got a shovel and dug a hole. Just one hole, straight down. The ground started out dry, but got wetter and wetter the deeper he dug.

Suddenly there was the spewing pipe, exactly where the dowsing rods had crossed.

I never would've believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself. I'd always thought it was just a myth, but it seems that there's something to it after all.

I'm still baffled as to how the rods picked up the leak itself, and not the whole water line. Fascinating stuff!

Fond childhood memories of dowsing and I never knew it had a name or of the science behind it, thought it was just something just the kids did. I seem to remember the method working for us.

It is very real. I have been doing it for over 40 years.
Located many a well, sewer lines, water pipes, utilities.
Always amazing, even to me. I have taught many, many.

I think anyone can do it, if willing. I have however,
had a few that could only do it if I held one side of the
stick and put my hand on their shoulder or was touching them.
I think they weren't doing the tension quite right.

Just about anything works. Wires, forked stick, broom...
Some more sensitive and selective. Have fun with it.

I worked on a huge ruined country house site for English Heritage. We wanted to send cameras down the drains and culverts under the cobbled and paved stableyards.

Guy from the inspection company turns up, looks breifly at the maps showing where we think the culverts are, and then proceeds to use dowsing to find them for himself.

Not only that, he told us..."You got that wrong, its further this way" etc,etc. Amazingly, he then showed us where there were new drains and culverts that were not even on the drawings. Turned out he was 100% right.

ive heard of something similar but havent tried it myself.
your story makes me think you have a healing gift.
personally i feel incredible HEAT or a deep COLD over injuries and painful spots.
usually its heat, painful heat (i cannot touch anyone with a fever, its too painful)
found an icy spot on my spouses spine right where he said it was hurting.

Did you use a special V stick material? or just a branch from a tree?

Granddad done it, my neighbor does it, and I saw a guy from the water department doing it to locate a water line recently.

Its not a gift. Anyone can do it. Reiki, healing energy, making your hands radiate intense heat is a walk in the park.

You're experiencing mild emphatic abilities. Imagine if you feel it from others all around you, and it happens to be a negative aggressive day. It'll eat you up unless you learn how to pull the blinds down in your mind.

We are in the same predicament we purchased land in Wyoming initially looked at land in Crook County however there were so many uranium mines in the area an the ground water was naturally contaminated. This meant we would have to use cisterns and have water trucked to the location and this was unacceptable to us.

We chose another county that is far more rural but good water is in the area this triggered the memory of dowsing as a child and I do wish to try making my own dowsing rods again.

Without a doubt skills are less than a novice, if I tossed a ring or coin outdoors would probably have to resort to using my metal detector thus will wait until my skill level advances with practice.
