No body took Trump seriously, when he was running for president.

I believe Pence is a good person and a straight shooter. I think that is why RINO Ryan wanted him in office. I think the never Trumper's have always viewed Trump as a DINO DNC plant. I think the bought out members of the DNC for Hillary even wanted Trump to run, because they believed it would be easy for them to catch him in scandals and Trump was not as smooth as a greasy salesman like Obama.

RNC was not certain of Trumps intentions. So to prove himself, they wanted him to have Pence for VP. Trump knew Pence was a good guy too, so he went with it. Besides Trump/ Pence had a nice sound, and seemed sort of revelations Biblical, after going through the Obama nation and destruction of America. He knew people would make that connection. Trump knows people better than they know themselves.

I think Hillary believed she bought the DNC. However a good number of people in the DNC knew Hillary and didn't like her. Bernie was allowed to run just to give the appearance that the Democrates members had a choice. It was suppose to be a cake walk over him to make Hillary look legitimate. It back fired though. Hillary was shocked when Bernie was actually popular, but since she had bought off the DNC chairs she knew she had the DNC wrapped up for her.

She never thought much of Trumps run and never took him seriously. She believe the negative press and felt she only had to focus on both coast ignoring middle America. As you know she lost. And trump... he saw opportunity to exploit this situation to drain the swamp. The man is a very smart.
