Even made the local news. Rattled houses over a huge area here. Rumors of a house explosion due to a gas leak. No one could confirm that. Contacted the Joint Reserve base here and they had no birds in the air. Finally Lockheed Martin fessed up to having plains in the air and causing the sonic boom. Booms were reported from Anahola to Kilauea - northeast side of the island. One mention of a plane blowing up? Nothing more being reported. Usually the military fesses up or they come up with some sort of cover story. Dead silence this time.
