What do you think the futures market is going to do to the price on Saturday? Futures contracts are going to be free through December.

If I understand correctly, the futures are being traded in USD/other currencies against BTC, not traded in BTC itself...

Can someone short the futures market and disrupt BTC?

There are so many people going in this late which might risk their money by a single but typical bitcoin drop..
Just.. try to understand it before you go in. Always buy a dip because the typical bitcoin dip of ~20% will happen again soon.

Well isn't this similar to what is happening in Venezuela? If their currency is to be tied to (their) petroleum, aren't they bypassing the need for exchanges and going straight to the end goal. Oiligarchy, underlying infogarchy and feeding the cryptos, a la ruskie.

Me thinks all three sides are being played.

Tulips are plants that die and disintegrate after a short period of time. The rare genetics of a certain tulip is what made them so valuable. What does this have to do with bitcoin you ask?

Nothing.

Maybe. I don't know much about the petro coin. Betting it is centralized to maintain control and manipulate. Don't know what an infogarchy is. In the end though once fiat is removed from the equation there is nothing for anyone to track.
