Using the Midnight Lizard extension for web-wide night theme, it works pretty well, and Stylish for where there are better themes available. The Sidebar and new tab page are very similar to Opera's if you like that, which I do. It's not the greatest but as a chromium build it has it's advantages. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75888571 and tbh it's not terrible. quantum is now almost as fast as safari on my mac Mozilla Quietly Adds Features From Tor Browser to Firefox [link to www.deepdotweb.com (secure)] In October of this year it was discovered that Mozilla intends to implement yet another feature from Tor Browser in Firefox. This upcoming privacy feature however will not be included until version 58 of the browser is released in January. The new feature imported from Tor Browser blocks HTML5 canvas fingerprinting. With this type of fingerprinting a site uses the canvas HTML tag to get a user’s browser to create a unique hash which is used to track a user. Quoting: DEEPDOTWEBA lot of websites rely heavily on canvas fingerprinting for tracking. As I don't have great faith in Mozilla, I am half-wondering if they'll end up dropping the feature before January under pressure from ad agencies. Will be interesting to see. The main thing mentioned in the article though is a port of Tor Browser's Cross-Origin Identifier Unlinkability. In FF called First Party Isolation. ...access to the cache, cookies, DOM storage, and other identifying data are restricted to the domain from which they came from, thus preventing tracking across other websites.
