It's true, aspartame is the worst shit you can put in your body. I gave it up a couple of years ago, just like that. I never looked back. Now I drink seltzer and black tea basically exclusively. I love carbonation. I used to crave Diet Pepsi and diet dr. Pepper. I would not ever touch it again.

I don't like stevia either, too sweet.

Xylitol is ok sparingly, only in gum and mints when needed. Supposedly safe, but kills dogs, so who knows. All artificial sweeteners are bad news.

Someone get the POTUS some nice flavored essence sweetener free seltzer, stat!
