i'd be interested, OP, to see your source. that is OTHER than YT. because Mengele wasnt a part of Paperclip. in fact he was wanted as a fugitive by the international court that tried all of the surviving members of the nazi party for war crimes and human rights abuses (the worst of the worst). there is quite alot of circumstantial evidence to suggest that Mengele fled Germany at the end of the war for South America and other places where he may have continued his twin studies in the years after the war. it was the underlings that were swooped up under paperclip - the personel that werent a part of the final solution mechanics and guards at the camps. this was to prevent Nazi knowledge and science discovered during this time from falling into the wrong (soviet, presumably) hands.

After reading about Chester’s early years there may be some legs to this story.
