Humanity has peaked and it's all downhill from here, says study.

A multi-disciplinary team led by physician Jean-François Toussaint from Paris Descartes University has conducted a review of over 160 studies stretching back 120 years. This research looked into longevity, how well humans can perform athletically, height trends over time, and the environment.

What the review has concluded is that lifespan, physical performance, and height - which were steadily rising throughout the 20th century - have plateaued over the last three decades, since around 1980.

"These traits no longer increase, despite further continuous nutritional, medical, and scientific progress," Toussaint said. "This suggests that modern societies have allowed our species to reach its limits."

I would have died an early death in many parts of the globe unless I learned how to survive there.

Education does not equal intelligence.

One of the problems is we have forgotten how to feed newlyweds. The nutritional status of the parents matters, as does their gut flora. There are so many other problems too. I've discussed them at length here.

since then we've been oscillating between advancement and detriment of our intellectual superiority.

This is the terrifying, obvious truth, and the inevitable outcome that results from taxing productive people (ie stealing their income) in order to feed, house, care, and buy votes from imbecile parasites.

It's sad how the PC culture is trying to bury the evident reason for the decline, because it doesn't fit their "everyone's equal" doctrine. Of course, it is about smart and highly educated people choosing not to have kids.

I am a smart and highly educated person (PhD + professorship). I was also dead set against having children ever. I used to sugarcoat it by citing moral reasons ("the world's such a clusterfuck that it'd be immoral to have kids"), but my true reason was:

"I've spent two decades working 70 h weeks and sacrificed everything in my life - including my social life and health - to advance my career. There's no way in hell I am going to throw it all away by having kids."

Then I fell in love, got married and got shafted at work because I couldn't put in the hours like before. I was torn between my obligations at home and those at work, and conseqeuently I burned out and my priorities shifted. I downshifted at work and we had a child. I was 45, my wife was 37. At our age it was touch-and-go, but eventually my wife gave birth to a healthy child.

Anyway, the point of my little story is that most people like me will either choose not to have kids or they'll postpone it until it's way too late. Had I not burned out, my marriage would have ended up in a divorce, because that's how hell-bent I was on my career. While recovering from the burn-out, I had time to think about life and how there must be something else than work to it. The realization that I was destroying myself and causing grief to my wife who truly loved me really woke me up, but most people like me will never wake up.

Send the very best men off to war to be slaughtered.

Make it un-affordable for hard working people to have kids

Get the Government to fund the criminals, illegal aliens, handicapped, drug addicts and the insane to have children.

Reward stupidity, laziness and other bad behavior like being a parasite and putting zero effort in school. Punish good behavior like hard work and obeying the laws.

Make illegal and prescription drugs easily available. Make sure females are prescribed prescription drugs that makes then insane.

Natural selection needs to make a big comeback before humanity is totally fucked.

another perfect example of how Eugenics helped make people healthy through selective breeding. just like cultivating a garden, eugenics kept humans at top physical and intellectual peak.

too bad Hitler got a bad name by taking Eugenics too far in creating a master race, because now we have a mess.
