Where I am in upstate NY is about to get hammered by snow and ice.
Friday is supposed to get up to 55, then rapidly drop to 13. Then freezing rain. Then 2 ft of snow, not including lake effect. They're predicting possible 3ft totals in most areas but more if you live near or on the lake.

It was 8 degrees warmer then they forecasted today. They were saying high of 54, turned out to be 62! They never used to be off by so many degrees in a single days forecast.
