19 people died and several others are missing during a landslide along a sea dyke in the Mekong Delta province of Ca Mau caused by a big wave in the southwest monsoon season. The southwest monsoon and big waves are threatening to the western sea dyke systems over Ca Mau province....

At least five people died in heavy downpours and flash flooding from typhoon Wipha and many villages are still stranded by flood water. As forecast, the storm circulation still continues to trigger heavy rainfall in the Northern mountainous and midland regions in the next couple days, especially Thanh Hoa province....
