That seems like a terrible idea

The way I look at it, at least they weren't just cowering in fear and were trying to do something to survive. These people were indeed cowering in fear otherwise, these people would not have dumped their children down a storm drain without food or water to survive beyond a few days of rough fear filled survival. Parents need to make plans and have supplies even if their only shelter is a storm drain by itself is no solution. Well the video I saw of it was short as fuck and you have no idea if they got shit to them. Again, they did way better than the people that were just standing around crying.
