Dog Food Recall

Thanks, OP, my loyal dog is 11 years old and I'd hate to feed her anything that'd impact her health. Much appreciate the heads up.

I feed my dogs an organic store bought food made by Honest Kitchen, but even with that, I buy it at least a month or two before I open the box. I wait to see if there is going to be a recall. I learned a long time ago not to fully trust any pet products.

Years ago I gave one of my dogs a rawhide chewy and it almost killed him. He was foaming at the mouth and vomiting. I took him to the vet and he was put on a IV for 3 days and then it took him weeks to fully recover. Since then, I'm really very careful about what my dogs can have.

Whenever I see a recall, I try to warn people.

Thanks. I keep a close eye on the recalls too. I would have to bury the wife with our dog if something happened to him.

I know! Our dogs are family and most times I prefer them over "other" family members.
