Sure, they'll hit the Russia lie, racism, sexism, etc, but the Republicans can easily quote economic numbers for blacks and women, and the lack of evidence for Russian collusion in response. Meanwhile, the Republicans have a list of successes. To leverage them, however, they'll have to tie themselves to Trump. There can't be any never Trumpers going into the midterms. So there's a real chance for Republican consolidation in the midterms, and a more pro-Trump agenda afterward. Wisdom is revealed as much by the questions one asks as the answers one gives.
