I laid flat for 10 min in the floor. I had zero pain lying there.
Got up, still sore but, not as stiff.

I'll keep doing it throughout the day.
The real question is, do you even doodle Bro?

I want to apologize for the kinda strange video but this guy has all the execercises that really help lower back.....

The exercise he says helped him most, where he lays on his back with arms out so he looks like a T and then bends his knee and rolls, that’s the one that really helps a lot

I’ve had terrible lower back issues for almost 30 years, these stretches really help.

Physical therapy on YouTube for disk out

WIRKS!

Looks like nothing would happen

Friend Bent over into therapy office - walked out!

Do the exercises up against a wall - bend at waist - see video - feel better - fine in a few days

Use your legs when lifting from now on.And keep your posture straight.I slipped a disk back in my early twenties and it took forever for the pain to go away. Now that that I'm older my back hurts after just a long walk.

My back has been bad the last two days and I did the T exercise just now and got it to pop back into place.....

Took some Tylenol too, lol

Re: I threw my back out yesterday. Advice needed.
My back has gone out many times. One time I couldn't stand up straight and was on vacation. I found that if I could straighten up and walk, it would get better and the pain would go away until the next morning. It took about a month for my back to get back to normal. After that, I found that doing leg exercises and situps helped. If you do the situps, start out slow with maybe only 5 a day and work your way up to 5 more each week. Slowly your muscles will strengthen and you won't have as many back problems.

Re: I threw my back out yesterday. Advice needed.
I just bent over to pick something up off the floor. As I was bending I felt something that felt like a strap hit my lower back.
A pop kind of, but long as if a strap.
Within seconds, pain creeped all over my lower back.

I took ibuprofen last night to no avail. Rubbing muscle cream today.

It's really limiting my movement and the pain kept me up last night.

Immediately after, I was unable to really walk. The pain has lessened now and I have more movement. Still painful though.

Never had a back problem before.

What remedies are there for this?

Any advice would be appreciated hf

I had the exact same thing a couple months ago.

Here's what worked for me:

1. Keep your back straight up! DOn't do any weird movements, go slow, slow slow.

2. Sit on a hot pad behind your back periodically, especially in the evening.

3. Use Dr. Christopher's Tissue and Bone capsules and ointment at least 3x a day. 1 capsule with each meal, apply ointment at place of pain.

I was better in a little less than a week.

I discovered the "Spoonk" acupressure mat a few years ago after throwing out my back. The generic muscle relaxant I was prescribed wasn't helping and I refused steroidal treatment. I was hesitant to purchase it, but 3 days later I was pain free! Amazing product!

Sold on Amazon.

You might try laying on your back on the (padded) floor with your legs up on a coffee table or similar height structure. Legs bent at the knee, no stress between hips and knees, knees and below resting on the coffee table. Just lay there for a while and let the muscles relax. Often works for me.

And - well, this probably doesn't even need to be said, but no sudden moves of any kind to set off the nerves in your back.

Best of luck with it - back pain is the pits.
More deplorable all the time.

Yes, I do. However, I do walk around the block/complex 3-4 times a day.
I take my dog to work everyday so it gives me a reason to get out.

I did find some 800 ml ibuprofen from a surgery I had last year.
I did some stretching in the floor as well.

The edgy pain has subsided for now.

Thank Godhf

Try to avoid the same move in the future if at all possible.
Find a chiropractor and go for one treatment and wait a few weeks of longer as one maybe all you need and the other appointments do almost nothing except make the dr a bit richer. If that doesn't work then look at other possible treatments.
