How many Christian scholars of eschatology agree with me?

1) There is no pre-tribulation rapture.
-We meet Jesus in the clouds upon his return and he doesn't return until he comes to overthrow the beast of revelation (the "antichrist") and set up his millennial reign.
-Jesus told us time and again to prepare for tribulation. Why would he tell us to prepare for trials, tribulations, and persecution if he was going to deliver us from those things?


2) We don't die and go to heaven or "hell" in a spirit form.
-We die and go to "sleep". We rest in death until our resurrection.
-Everyone will be resurrected. Some to eternal life, some to eternal death.


3) There is no such thing as eternal torment in a place called "hell."
-Those who are condemned will be resurrected for judgment and will be cast alive into the lake of fire and will be destroyed forever (the second death.)
-Eternal life is a gift from Jesus Christ. Eternal torment denotes eternal life (even if it is suffering), which means the condemned also have eternal life.
