That will be awesome if they can do it. There is no reason to bring people here so we can feed them. I have a problem with my tax dollars being used to feed foreigners. If they came here to better themselves, they need to feed themselves.

What we need is a reward system that would pay someone for information leading to the deportation of an illegal aliens .

Say $1000 for every illegal that is deported!!!

Any worker at the welfare department that sees an illegal would just call , say ICE and that would be it.

Welfare would have all the information on the illegal persons

I used to work part time in a grocery store and the amount of benefits these people got was ridiculous. Both Ukrainian and Hispanic. Although the Hispanics were wiring hundreds back home while the Mrs. Was filling her grocery cart and paying with EBT and WIC. They followed the rules, yet the Mr. Would take out a wad of hundreds to pay for the beer and cigarettes that benefits didn't cover. The Ukraines would try every way possible to scam on their benefits. If you can afford to send hundreds back home and still have several hundred left, you can buy your own damn food.

The ones who came for benefits won't self-deport because of the inconvenience of it negating their chance for citizenship. In fact, citizenship comes with the responsibility of paying taxes, so the ones that came for benefits aren't even trying to get citizenship because it will mean less income, and so Trump's stance essentially means nothing to them.

But it means everything to you, the taxpayer that elects him, and that's all that matters until the the next term is sealed.

I agree! Many tax payers can't afford to feed their own kids and get them medical care. Many are forced to work more than one job so others can sit on their lazy asses, squirt out kids and live off of people who never get time off and are exhausted. This shit has to stop!!! No more having kids for meal tickets to a life of sloth. Welfare of any kind should have a five year lifetime limit. Do this and the parasites will disappear or die.

They do mostly want to become citizens. The holdup isn't that they have to "wait in line" but that they are NOT QUALIFIED. They have to use the backdoor for low quality people, because they are not high enough quality for the other door.

(Or of course there's the visa lottery for low quality people, but that's a crapshoot.)

Dreamers who didn't sign up for DACA didn't want to "come out of the shadows" because they knew they could be eligible for deportation after that 2 year DACA work/school permit (why is school allowed?) expired.

When Germany absorbed East Germany it was natural to allow benefits. But not from other countries who come to leech and mooch off the government, that's just not fair or smart.

Glad Trump is initiating this stop to hand-outs.

Apparently you can come here on a student visa, H1-B visa, seasonal agricultural worker visa, etc. and get government benefits? I'm quite sure you can't do that in other countries including Canada.

Less than 20% of DACAs even applied for citizenship when they had a chance.
