many of the comments echo what this youtube commenter , and I , have said

quote

Skull. Skull. Skull. The rhyme with "dull." The image with skull. How deep are you cutting a "soul" when you are cutting it "six inches?" If you are cutting a skull, six inches is a jagged gaping wound. If you are cutting a "soul," you wouldn't be specifying literal inches; you'd just say the abstracted "valley" or something more poetic like "burning valley," "bottomless chasm."

The skull imagery is continued in the final verse: "freight train running through the middle of my head."

Skull.

Hahaha, that’s funny!

But seriously me and the husband who are well into our mid 50’s clearly remember the bandana in the back pocket , it was iconic!

Someone mentioned in a video that Jim habits and Brian den why were still alive, or when the video was made in 2017, and I clearly remember him babies dying 25 or so years ago, he died young, I also remember Brian dennehy dying I the last 10 or so years because he was so likable to me, also that comedian Louis something.... big guy, he died in my memory but apparently he’s still alive, as well as dennehy and until 2017 so was nabors.

The Mandela is real. All us old farts remember singing We are the champions....of the world! Everyone does and yet it doesn’t exist, that last part.

OP is not bullshitting.
Noticed this last week listening to tunes on the radio. They have changed..

Were talken classics Ive heard 100's if not 1000's of x.

Song's I know by heart. Songs I've learned not only reading the music playing as well.

Glad someone else noticed! I've been a practicing Musician over 3 decades.

Perfect pitch. Shits changing. Not major a word, a beat, a pitch. But yes. No doubt about it.

I almost made a Mandela post myself. Figured most would not be able to discern it though. And start up with the trolling.

Great catch OP
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75557444

Songs can be edited for air play. Take a song like "Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits. You can't say the word 'fa66ot' on the radio anymore, so an edited version exists without that word.

It was a freaking red bandana.

I'm getting tired of the jacking up.

Have you looked in retrocausality as a potential explanation for ME?

And no. No "Scopitone". WTH?
 Quoting: Fluffy Pancakes

whats really crazy are OLD MOVIES

there are old Rita Hayworth movies I used to watch that were black and white, and are now technicolor

and I like William Holden movies

especially one like Stalag 17 (1953) , Sabrina (1954) , and Picnic (1955)

but now there are NEW?! movies of his from those years I have never heard of, that didn't exist in my reality

The Mandela Effect is real. You, on the other hand, I don't know.

It has always been Springsteen.

It was always SOUL.

I worked in the music section of a department store, when this album came out. I stocked HUNDREDS of them. There was a bandana in his back pocket. The same bandana he wore around his head on so many videos.

Side note: spell check is telling me that I am spelling bandana wrong. When was there ever 3 N's in bandanna?

John Denver has a new number one hit from 1975 !!

now the flip side of CALYPSO is ALSO a number one hit -

its called I'M SORRY -

go ahead hum a few bars of either - i'll wait

the new history of 1975 is that JD had an amazing double sided , number one hits on the same record - even the Beatles and Elvis didn't have that\\

wait - SHAZAM - now FLY AWAY IS A number one hit also!

i'm a (Crappy) guitarist - I play John Denver songs, and Bruce Springsteen songs

the history is changing, radically

even Bruce SPringsteens Born in the USA album cove rhas changed - now he has a GIANT red baseball cap in his back pocket

this reality SUCKS

the song for the new JUMANJI film has a huge mandela effect

the FIRST LINE of the song has changed

used to be

MANY A TEARDROP WILL FALL

now it is

Many a Tear have to Fall

I know this as I tried to learn this song decades ago - it was used in the 1999 movie OCTOBER SKY (rocket boys)

but it did not translate well to acoustic guitar, and the old time melody was too complex

a quick google search - MANY A TE....

will show the OLD CORRECT lyrics

Almost heaven,
West Virginia,
Blue Ridge Mountains shenendoah river,

Life is old there, older than the sky,
tasty drop of moonshine, tear drop in my eye

take me home,
country road,
to the place,
I belong,
West virginia,
Mountain mama,
take me home,
country road.

First verse. I can't recall the rest of them that clearly.

I remember it being springsteen ever since I heard of him. I was a disc jockey for a local radio station and I had the albums in hand. I didn't like the guy so it stuck with me. I think some of the mandela might be real but most is just our memories going as we age. We lose hearing as we age but what we hear is more fine tuned, sharp as a tack. We heard songs on the radio and we haven't heard them in years so we remember what we sang wrongly as being gospel when we were wrong with the lyrics as teeny boppers.

I remember that song. But I think it was "Don't say THAT you love me."

I don't remember how big of a hit it was and 1989 seems too late. I mean I think it would've been closer to the ROCK ME TONIGHT, date.
