Re: Mandela Effect Horror: Collapse of music, Springsteen, John Denver, more
The ones I'm 100 % sure of so far:

1. Moonraker Dolly had braces. That was the entire joke, the scene is just not the classic cinema moment it used to be without those braces!

2. The Bible said the lion shall lie down with the lamb, not the wolf shall dwell with the lamb. Not only has this verse changed randomly, it changed in a way that makes no Biblical sense. The lion represents the tribe of Judah, but "the wolf" has no Biblical meaning whatsoever.

3. No way South America was that far to the right on a map! No way Sicily was that close to Italy either. And new Zeeland is too far south.

4. Those short ribs that don't connect look strange as fuck to me. We never had those in any anatomy chart I ever saw. Our hearts were more to the left too (with one lung smaller to make room), and our kidney's were further down than now.

5. I don't remember exactly what Bruce had in his back pocket, but it was definitely hanging straight down in a more casual way, and it sure didn't cover that much of his ass cheek.

6. "We are the champions ... of the world". I loved Queen, and I played their albums to death, singing along according to my limited ability. There's absolutely no chance I just "remember this wrong" (together with lots of other people for that matter).

7. The capital of Israel was Tel Aviv. I know for sure, because it surprised me when I learned it, since I had assumed it would be Jerusalem. Now it is, "and always was", Jerusalem, with Tel Aviv never having been the capital.

Yup, things have changed.

I dont really understand what the f you guys are talking about, but there was some SERIOUSLY F-d up shit going on with songs I heard on the radio this week. I knew the usuals, - I love rock and roll, lots of madonna, lots of michael jackson, betty davis eyes, etc......and that dam Billie Eillish.

First time listening to radio where I felt completely "lost" in time vortex. I've listened for years, and on Sunday/Monday, it was enough to make me feel like I wasn't real.

It was like, all these weird songs that I had never heard before, but enough songs I knew to make me think I wasn't completely losting it. Radio is predictable. And NOTHING I was hearing was making sense.

Can he do to you the things that I do

SHOULD BE does(can) he do to you the things I won't do

Yesterday (2019)

Jack Malik is a struggling singer-songwriter in an English seaside town whose dreams of fame are rapidly fading, despite the fierce devotion and support of his childhood best friend, Ellie. After a freak bus accident during a mysterious global blackout, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles have never existed. Performing songs by the greatest band in history to a world that has never heard them, Jack becomes on overnight sensation with a little help from his agent.

I remember that bruces hand had his thumb in his pocket. Now in this picture its like he is holding the hat but because of how this is set up its almost impossible for him to be holding it. I remember the bandana in the back pocket folded up nicely and sticking out of the pocket flopped over the pocket. This is an excellent Mandella

SHAZAM - it Scopitone , videos in a machine before their time

[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

check it out, the tech history of these fake video juke boxes, and their fake competitors changes every week
 Quoting: SHAZAM 76122599

I just saw this video recently and I was perplexed I had never seen it before. Moreover, that video NEVER would have been allowed on TV in the 60’s. At least not in MY timeline.

Great thread, OP.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75414566

I remember seeing this video back in the 1980s on a cable music channel that was competing with MTV.

Although I totally buy the story that it was made for some video jukebox for bars and nightclubs, it could easily have appeared on television--on the Dean Martin Show, with the show's Dingalings or Golddiggers dancers doing the dancing. Things were allowed on the Dean Martin show that were not allowed on most other shows.

And in fact, Nancy did do a Santa version of "These Boots are Made for Walking" on the Dean Martin Christmas Show.

When the going gets tough was from the soundtrack of the movie The Jewel of the Nile which while successful basically killed the romancing the Stone franchise and was not a hugely popular movie. I saw it at the movies. I remember the song period it did not reach number one period I do remember the song Maria maria. May I ask how old you are?

Those ribs are called floating ribs at least they wear when I was in anatomy and physiology in college in 1988. They were also the target of karate strikes which I find silly to think about now it was thought that you could reach underneath those ribs and pull them out and break them without breaking the skin
