"The truth brings not peace but a sword." Why, doesn't everybody have the truth?

Excellent question, millions accept Jesus as their savior but never ask if he accepts them as his disciples, because they aren't, they're just 'believers'.

Get away from me, all YOU workers of unrighteousness!’ 28 There is where [YOUR] weeping and the gnashing of [YOUR] teeth will be, when YOU see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves thrown outside. 29 Furthermore, people will come from eastern parts and western, and from north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God. 30 And, look! there are those last who will be first, and there are those first who will be last.” Lk13:24

Because few have earned it, and even worse, those that think they have the truth haven't, and then spread it, creating even further problems.

Matthew 23:15
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

2 Timothy 4:3
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Also Jehovah is Satan, the Lord God, that one is not the Father, the God of Heaven. He is the creator of this world and all in it, including your religions, and the fruit of religion isn't peace.

Sword is words of truth. Revelation will reveal the meaning behind them.

As for your last question, people should celebrate.

The Sword implies justice, if anyone was wondering, something we are lacking on this planet, for the time being

some deficient types might assume a sword means violence or something stupid, just have to make sure it's clear
