What about the revelations, what about not being conformed to this world, and the renewing of the mind.

And ultimately what about the overcoming of this world and being raised up on the last day........of your individual life.

I understand that it is very hard when we all see the evil that occurs in this fallen world, to also attribute these fallen values to GOD, but this is not what GOD wants us to do. GOD wants us to just believe that nothing is impossible for GOD to do to make it good again. When we love someone, we think we love them for all the good qualities they have, but these are only good things they give us. When someone we love can no longer give us the good things should we stop loving them? Is this true love? No. We love the whole person, good and bad.
