They will come in from miles around. Also, reduces the foods ability to chew holes in your roof. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68560474 Your dog will be very happy. Thanks for the suggestion and it would be very healthy food for him though. |

Eukanuba brand dry food sits in a bowl for him to snack on. That's the only brand he'll eat, he's super fussy with food. |

Wish it wasn't so expensive. When I run out I just do ground beef. But, seriously they all go crazy for the Beef. Both my cats and dog like fresh chicken and turkey gizzards, they won't touch chicken livers. Chicken necks and wings for a treat (dog) they help keep his teeth clean. It's pretty cheap because it is the high fat content grade. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73599206 Fresh chicken necks from the processing factory, I buy bulk then bag and freeze it. I may do that again. Thanks! |

Thank you - I do that a couple of times a week, but, I did forget about adding eggs and organ meat. |

We did this and they loved it... for about a week. Then they got tired of it and demanded something else, lol. As far as kibble, our guys get Authority from PetSmart. Pretty good stuff for the price. |

Cost the same as these fancy dog foods. Quoting: Jesus Lives I want to do that, but, it has been tough the last few years. These days, I am doing great if I cook for myself. I have some medical issues that affect my energy level. Shopping, cooking and then cleaning it up is overwhelming at times. That is my only reason for trying to incorporate kibble as well. This thread is reminding me again how important it is and I need to find a way to streamline the process. Last Edited by akaSuzanne on 02/15/2018 10:07 AM |

I've had dogs in the past that would eat anything and I fed them on the wet canned food and the cheapest shitty dry food I could find. By the time they were 10 or so years old they'd have lumps under their skin, another got cancer and was bleeding out his nose. This dog is now 9, is super healthy and looks much younger. The dog might not give a fuck but I do. |

Dogs love it mixed in with their kibble. I buy Taste of the Wild Appalachian Valley, grain free, no potatoes too (feeds yeast allergies). They like to crunch on that.
