Our local HS was on lockdown last Friday.

I thought today was a holiday in the US.

I don't know where this school is located, but some will have school on a holiday to make up for having a lot of snow days. Keeps them from having to stay in school longer over the summer.

Someone I know had a lockdown of their school just this past Saturday (young kid was at a dance). Guys, buckle in. I think they are trying to make this a terror to every person, so they can finally claim the guns of Americans.

Yeah, my kids school district doesn't take today off. Not sure why. In LIVID that the school administration knew about this last night and didn't do anything. Why have the kids go to school and then deal with it?? As far as I know no shots have actually been fired, but that's not very comforting right now.

Well for the record they had lock downs for a fox twice when i was in grade 1 so maybe that can give you comfort!

Franklin High School has been dealing with threats for over a week now, Independance High School now has been receiving them.
The entire county shut down the school system today in order to "coordinate a plan with local authorities."
The county is WilliamsonCounty, it is one of the wealthiest counties in the country.

Having this drill in the entirety of the Williamson County School district really sends a pit to the bottom of my stomach.

I thought school was out today?

Take your kids out of school now! Don't wait or it may be too late! Demand their release, if the school new of the treat ahead of time and did not close .... then they dont care for you childs safety.

See if you can call him and have him video tape. That way when they say its one shooter, we can finally have proof that its 3 or more.

They were scheduled to be open in our district today. They made the plan to close them Friday of last week.
