time to homeschool. Nothing makes the government stand up and listen like someone else reaching into their wallet.

Don't worry. No news is good news. We use to have a schizophrenic parent call in bomb threats all the time, when ever they went off their meds or there was a stressor even in his life. like the Fl school shooting. Meds just make symptoms more manageable. It does not take away the delusions.

We always had to take each threat seriously. The parent usually called anonymously, but we knew who it was. The parent was banned from coming to campus. He honestly believed it was going to happen. He had sources and secret powers that told him so.

The parent would go to the hospital for months at a time, be Ok for a few months, than everything would start all over again.
We got good at the drills, and even learned to have lots of water, juice and crackers on hand as well as tarps. Teachers even had kids to grab their jackets and bring their books. The procedure was to head out to the foot ball stadium across and down the street. The police and fire would show up. They would come check the building, bring the dogs.

So relax. Most likely a prank or a delusional person making a call.

my son's school used a family of skunks but it was a good teaching moment. Wished I had home schooled

It comes down to money, because it cost a lot of money to close down your schools every time a threat is made. Most threats are just that... threats. It was most likely a prank or a delusional person. Schizophrenia happens. They were trying to clear the threat and keep the funds to educate your kids. In case you have not noticed, schools are going down the drain because special education programs are not funded appropriately. Schools are constantly skirting being sued.

Sadly this isn’t new after tragedies. Around my way there has been bomb threats and other threats after shootings and other events at other schools. Dumb kids who want the day off many times, some morons got busted for it a couple years ago here.

AND NO ONE CALLED THE SCHOOL TO EVEN ASK..

it's happening all over. last week north of Seattle in Everett a 19 yr old was turned in by his grandmother for detailed plotting of a school attack he was to perform. had it all written down in a "journal" about makin homemade bombs and also had a gun hidden in a guitar case. along with that...schools including Highline CC were locked down in the area of Desmoines, WA just 6 miles or so up the road from me. even the nursing home my wife works at close by was locked down during the ordeal with swat and numerous police agencies swarming the area as well as fire rescue units. 3-4 hours later it was determined someone was letting off firecrackers. especially after big shootings everyone is on edge and things could end up bein locked down over some popcorn farts. i guess better safe than sorry.

Maybe the school was TOLD to allow them to go to school. By you-know-who, that is covertly coordinating all this nationwide now.

As in, an across-the-country 'school-shooting' blitz to effect all Americans, not just those in Florida.

And who is the MASTERMIND behind this effort and plan???

These are desperate times for some now-cornered animals, eh?

OP, don't let them control you and your children's mind via this trauma programming.

Prayers for your child. I'm willing to bet this is part of the agenda for gun grabs. I know that is no comfort to u now, but if it were me I'd go directly to the school and demand their release. Leave work, whatever, your child is the most important thing you can have on this earth.

I told my daughter that if that ever happens to do three things.

If you can run away safely, then run and don't look back.
If you can't run, then hide and don't make a sound.
Worst case scenario, play dead if amongst shooting victims.

And never panic. You can panic all you want after, but stay calm and use your brain to assess your options.
