Dude antimatter is the single most expensive substance on the face of the earth. Keeping like 10 antimatter atoms costs upwards of 5-10 million. The amount of energy produced from 10 annihilations could only be picked up by extremely sensitive equipment.

Nobody has the budget to create antimatter in quantities enough to be dangerous.

Wrong. There are multiple ways to contain antimatter dumbass.

If there weren't any way to do so PET scan machines couldn't work as they require a supply of positrons to do the imaging that they do. Positrons are anti protons.

The AF though has long since moved past needing to store them since they discovered a method of creating a beyond unity method of creating positrons on demand that causes a Cascade effect giving far more positrons than should be possible given the input power levels.

There's nothing particularly unsafe about this experiment especially given the extremely tiny amounts of antimatter I question.
