in Switzerland everyone is required to own fully automatic machine guns by law. Also I think they have local arms caches known only to locals with much more deadly weapons for the general population to use in case of invasion, like high tech bazookas, surface to air missiles, anti tank weapons, etc.

switzerland was right smack in middle of WWI, and WWII and wasn't even involved in the wars. nobody bothered to mess with Switzerland.

every state should create such arms caches for civilian public use to protect them from enemies foreign and domestic.

The Luby's shooting, also known as the Luby's massacre, was a mass shooting that took place on October 16, 1991, at a Luby's Cafeteria in Killeen, Texas, United States. The perpetrator, George Hennard, drove his pickup truck through the front window of the restaurant. He quickly shot and killed 23 people, and wounded 27 others. He had a brief shootout with police, and refused their orders to surrender, fatally shooting himself.

********* An anti-crime bill was scheduled for a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives the day after the massacre. Some of the Hennard victims had been constituents of Representative Chet Edwards, and in response he abandoned his opposition to a gun control provision that was part of the bill. The provision, which did not pass, would have banned some weapons and magazines like one used by Hennard.

Re: What the experts in gun control have to say...
These Confiscation-Tards have got to be the stupidest life forms on the planet. Instead of trying to make the system that is in place today work they go right to the worst case scenario of making firearms illegal and confiscating all of them. This is simply retarded. On the day that they have successfully stopped heroin traffic (it is already illegal) and confiscate it all and prevent all of the crime and deaths that occurs from it's use these people (the government) stand convicted of being totally useless, incompetent and completely inept. Anyone begging them to solve the firearms dilemma is dumber than dirt. If you want to give the government a task that they can actually accomplish, why don't you simply ask them to rob us blind and ruin our country? Oh wait, they have already accomplished that one.
He who feels the respect which is due to others cannot fail to inspire in them regard for himself, while he who feels, and hence manifests, disrespect towards others, especially his inferiors, cannot fail to inspire hatred against himself.

Gun control works!

Just ask the experts:

Mao
Stalin
Hitler
Chiang Kai Shek
Pol Pot
Fidel Castro
Kim Il Sung
Idi Amin

and their hundreds of millions of dead, unarmed victims.

Re: What the experts in gun control have to say...
Remember Rep. DeGette when she was on the committee to try to ban high capacity magazines? And how she thought they were a one use, disposable item? lol, I am serious.

Here's Senator de Leon and his "ghost gun" with a "30 caliber magazine clip" that "shoots 30 rounds in a half second".

And Dem. Patricia Eddington's claims that a BMG .50 shoots a "heat seeking round that could cook a deer if you shoot it":

We can't forget Bloomberg's definition of an "assault weapon":

Or Democrat Rep. Carolyn McCarthy's explanation of a barrel shroud:

The big time shooter himself, Joe Biden telling us how to handle an intruder:

One of the best...Diane Feinstein claiming it's legal to "hunt humans" lol:

And of course, our guy who knows everything about everything...Obama and his claim that it's easier to buy a gun than it is to buy a book:

Seriously guys, these are the freaks who are trying to ban our guns. The same people who look down on us law-abiding, God loving Patriots like we're idiots.
