They are actually police officers from Garland, Rowlett & Sachse. All three cities are in Garland ISD. Garland ISD pays half their salary and Garland PD, Rowlett Pd or Sachse PD pays the other half of salary. Which both are funded from our property taxes. Quoting: CountryWise That works. Yes, someone has never been to a school sporting event, much less when there are two at one time. Too busy sitting in his mom's basement watching CNN and David Hogg videos. SMH |

"We're glad that our officer encountered him early," Hernandez said. "He had the weapon, ammunition and a mask ... Whatever we prevented, the outcome was going to be bad." The officer noticed Horta sitting in his car after 9 p.m. in an area behind the high school near the community center. Hernandez said the officer approached the car because it seemed suspicious and saw the semi-automatic rifle on the seat. The officer took Horta into custody and initiated a search of his car. Police found more than four grams of a penalty group 2 drug they believed to be hallucinogens. They also found an illegal club and about 100 rounds of ammunition.
