Moment thieves steal Mercedes in just 40 seconds with high-tech gadget used to hack luxury cars without keys

Police released CCTV footage of two men using signal relay equipment to transmit an "unlock" signal from the car's key to the vehicle on February 21.

By placing a relay box near to the car and key, the thieves were able to hack the wireless system and steal the luxury car in the early hours.

The vehicle has yet to be recovered.
