Good point. Reminded me that up until a few years ago, beer was NOT categorized as liquor in Russia.

I only learned about that when i came across an article in a russian website which stated that beer would no longer be accepted as 'non alcoholic.'

I think it may of had something to do iwith problems of drunkeness or alcoholism, dont recall clearly.

But didnt take it that Russinas would be insulted by a beer offering.
