That big statue of Anubis is always a welcoming sight also. And there is that guide to the afterlife vibe again!! Anubis was depicted as a jackal. He was the Egyptian god of the underworld who guided the spirits of the dead into the afterlife. Yeah, Anubis and thoughts of death and the afterlife is just what you want to see right before boarding a metal tube and ascending 35,000 feet into the air.
