No, but apparently a governor can indeed override electors, and WILL for the 2020 elections. And then, as the Dems ALWAYS do, they will say, “Fine. Sue us.” They get enough governors to do what Colorado has just done. When all their states override the electors (with a fraudulent popular vote,) and throw all their electors to the Dem candidate, the Dem candidate will win. The Republicans cry foul, and the Dems say, “That will have to go through the court system. And that will take two years. But for now, looks like our candidate will be taking the presidency.” They will say Trump is contesting the election results. See my post above—not enough time to contest whatever they “find” in court. Trump is kept off the ballot illegally; the Dems say, “Well, you will need to take that through the courts.” And they accuse Trump of not accepting the results of the election. Believe me, they will find a “problem” somewhere if he releases them. And you say he’ll be kept off the ballot if he DOESN’T release them?? Do you see what they are shaping here? Again, I don’t think there is time to take this through the federal court system—per plan. It can be bogged down intentionally by bad judges for months. The election is in 20 months.
