Pelosi Puts Her Foot Down: No Immediate Plans for Impeachment After Mueller Report

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told Democrat lawmakers in a conference call Monday that caucus leaders have no immediate plans to impeach President Donald Trump following the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, according to a report.

The Washington Post, citing three officials on the call, reports that lawmakers were told to pump the brakes on ousting the president and instead focus on their respective committee investigations to “see where they lead.”

I really enjoy your posts hankie. You’re a person I would love to sit and chat with. I was raised very strict catholic and question everything now. If my dad was alive he’d probably bring me to be exorcised. Not kidding he was very pious, never drank or smoked. Don’t think he was aware of all the other stuff in the church for most is coming out recently. He prayed at breakfast lunch and dinner. Different prayers spread on the table at each. Then there were his evening prayers and the rosary as you sit and watch tv. I’ve questioned lots of those prayers some in Latin for they sound funny to me. Weird funny. I came to the realization that because we had many miracles in my family (my mom actually died and came back after vigils of prayers) that his were from a good heart no matter if the prayer was questionable.

You brought up two things I wasn’t aware of. Popes got married and Constantine. I’ve always questioned whether he was good or bad.

His wife and mother-in-law were Christians before he became Pope, and as for good guy, I ask if he was a Christian I do not believe a Sun worshiper whose rite are very similar to that goes on today was a Christian, all he wanted was to join it all so his rule would go smoothly, he was not the first nor the last Pagan Pope Of Rome, there was one who read the Bible and I guess converted, he had a fit and remove all the statue etc, because it was against God's law, all their rituals were ended. For this he had both the priest and the Muslims coming at him for doing so. He died and they put it right back.

It not good history really, as far as what went on. After all this they came up with purgatory to get money from people to get their dead love one out of it and into heaven, this all to build the Vatican. There is no purgatory in the Bible, besides this they had to relay on the priest at the time to tell them what was written, not many of them were educated in the reading of the bible and they were given the writing to teach from. Some people were keep from death by memorizing a pages of the Bible, and people who were able to read were not as plentiful as there should have been. The printing press and people learning to read was something that turned the tide on Rome. I would say it was God sent, of course some people did know how to read, they also copied the older letters of all the ones people from the time of Christ up. They really did this by hand, and sometime you may have some little mistakes from them because of hand copying.

You have good memory hankie. Like a walking encyclopedia of history. Isn’t what you mentioned above part of the reason for the crusades? This is history I’m not familiar with and probably should brush up on. Don’t want to derail thread too much but I find this very interesting.

Wow, damning if true and, after reading that, I'm beginning to think all my fears that the mueller team may have taken two years to destroy evidence against the dems could possibly be true. The only thing negating that is "we have it all" and I sure hope they do, including evidence of any evidence destruction.

He seems to have not gotten the books on Tartary, these took over the middle east, and every country he mentions. They actually did everything he mentions, they also did it to many of the Mohammedans. There were massacres in these people, too. They were allow to keep part of their religion not all of it. Remember these were written out of history starting with Stalin, and all those other places which had been conquered. I read old books, too. The name Khan should have clued him in. Genghis Khan just one of the people, Timberline was one of theirs, lieutenants. If you did not fight back you were dead, men woman and children, not all of them, they were taken slaves, too.

He did not go into the things that happened during the reign of the Huns, who were also in the same line, when he went down, the grandson took over after a pull back for a while. It was never long, and yes, this whole route that was mention was them, every battle was from them and their army which also had Islamic with them, their ways was to bring in the strongest warrior and ones who were loyal to them, they gained from that loyalty, they took over all these places.

It was a give and take some years, then more, by the 1800s they were in places as visiting dignitaries. Opera House of Paris France, Spain had become part of their group at some point. It all lasted to first part was lost under the First Czars of Russia, who were just as mean, they lost a lot of Territory to them, and China gained some back, China was not a large power back then, upper Chinese were a power back then they were part of Tartary Kingdom, at one point so was India, and all those smaller places. All the Middle East were under them, then they slowly lost or gave up on some, as all Empires, it lost to a bigger mean group, they were not just one group, they were a multitude of different ethnic group, they each had independent parts of Tartary. the Ottoman's were part of them. After the Communist took over and Stalin made them write themselves out of history as who they really were, WW2 took care of the Ottomans.

One thing for sure, they wanted to forget these people. Yes, the Islamic's were part of their group only not from the originals. The Turks were one of the meanest groups, and fighters. This history is bloody, and they did not have pity on people at all. So, there is something he should have checked, it was not just one group of Islamic, it was a hoard from another kingdom. A old kingdom maybe the largest every to exist. They took out anyone who stood in the way of their taking over the areas. Then they sort of eased off on them, another generation was born. They were the meanest of for the way they fought. I can not say the others were much better, they just were mean and cruel to less people, just as mean to the burning them at the stake.

One of the stories of Genghis Khan was that he told the Pope that he must have been very bad for God to send him after them.

He probably right about the other part, the Ottoman had become sort of lazy and got others to do their bidding, these were when the other group was not there watch. These are the one Thomas Jefferson were dealing with, until they sent one they Call the Ghost.

He got back our people from these people, not exactly the group as now, these are more to those group that were hangovers of the other time.

You can study them now, of course you would have had to know about them first, I know from book in school, we had old books because we were a poor area and was not able to buy new books for a long time. Until recently, I just did not know what became of them, they just disappeared, from history books.

It was never just them, they had battle and lost some for a time, then regained it later. They also did not stay as pagans there are early Christians who were there to, those missing groups were not all kill, they were already there.

They did leave people in charge of areas, only the early group of Christian were many until the Czar took over, they would not take the Czars orders to convert to the Russian Orthodox, he imprisoned and killed many of them. Islamic had to convert same thing. Russia used to be part of Tartary.

Only a part of Tartary.

Timberline, and other names are not from Mohammad, and neither was Genghis Khan. I guess he missed this part.

Sometimes the old maps show all the time it grew and pulled back.

I for one am glad I did not live in that time.
Sorry I got a headache

They did not want the Crusades to mess up their trade routes, I sure during Muhammad's time, he did the same, he had been in the trades. A lot of people were at that time and later. It was a crazy time, you can think of all the plots from one side to the other, even they tricks they did in England to get the English to join in, it was because they had similar things they did in worship, they did not worship the same religion not really. Early Christian had been in England before the days of Constantine. Wars and other things and the Church of Rome killed many of them even there. They burned them at the stake.

Here's why many of us on this thread are spiritual but not religious...Has to do with the etymology of the word religion.

Word came from latin: "religare" (to bind); then moved to later latin: "religio" (bond, obligatory, to revere), and then to mid English...when it meant to take vows of certain orders/monasteries, etc; then it moved to what it means to the general consensus today, and I really don;t think most people really know what religion literally is.

Basically, if you're "religious" you are voluntarily binding yourself to a though/belief system that may or may not be true...[Most people never really take the fruit of the tree of knowledge and see for themselves...just go along with prescribed authority and senseless ritual...]

It doesn't sound like many of us are interested in binding ourselves blindly to prescribed "belief systems," so I come hear, lol.

This coming from someone raised catholic, someone who escalped without ever being an "altered boy," thank God.

SETH ABRAMSON IS RIGHT!!!
Corsi would hustle up "superchats" in dementia laced #Qanon livestreams. I think he blew the money on cardigan sweaters and hard candy.

Jerome Corsi—who spoke with Trump 6 times and was in a joint defense agreement with him—changed his answers to the feds about WikiLeaks so many times it concerned his lawyer. Corsi ultimately told Mueller he couldn't tell the difference between fantasy and reality. #NotSuspicious

Corsi lost the plot, or dug himself a new one, aeons ago.

people are waking up. Such a hard fought battle though.

@coreysdigs

1) I went out to lunch with an old client today, to this yummy Italian restaurant. I knew he voted for Trump, but didn’t know if he was "woke." Turns out, he was furious at the media, knew they were spreading lies, but he really had no insight as to why or what’s been going on.

2) So I enlightened him. He became fascinated, and kept asking questions. He wanted the link to my website to share with all of his friends. Despite the fact we are in a blue state, him and 90% of his friends are Republican and voted for Trump.

3) At one point he asked “who the heck is this Soros guy?” So, I began sharing info about him. Suddenly, our kind male waiter (prob in his late 20s) came over and said, “sorry, I don’t mean to interrupt, but I heard you talking about George Soros....”

Thread: Rex Tillerson says Trump ‘asked him to do illegal things’ when he served as secretary of state

Mr Tillerson described the give and take he had with the president during rare public remarks on Thursday in Houston, where he attended a fundraiser for the MD Anderson Cancer Center.

“So often, the president would say here’s what I want to do and here’s how I want to do it and I would have to say to him: ‘Mr President, I understand what you want to do but you can’t do it that way. It violates the law,’” Mr Tillerson said, according to The Houston Chronicle.

“I’d say here’s what we can do. We can go back to Congress and get this law changed. And if that’s what you want to do, there’s nothing wrong with that. I told him I’m ready to go up there and fight the fight, if that’s what you want to do,” he added.

During those conversations the president would grow frustrated, Mr Tillerson said.
