Hmmm I saw him interviewed about this and he seemed genuine. It was what he called a family decision. A lot of families, because of the climate and moral conditions in DC, opt to not want to get involved. And I think most people would not blame them.

Besides he has such support it shows in an odd way how POTUS is fairing in NH so that is a good outcome.

I keep a 65 Dodge Dart and a 71 Ford pickup for that very reason. EMP proof! They both have about 70,000 miles on them, and are dependable.

My dad has a 2003 toyota sequoia. That thing has miles on it but my dad won't give up on it, keeps it in top condition. I'm wondering now how to find out if your car is emp proof.

Electronic ignition? Then it wouldn't be. Don't know much about that year of Toyota. If the battery was removed, and you pulled all the fuses??? I don't really know!

The CBS Evening News has apologized after it confused Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) with the late Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) on air Monday.

The initial story was in regard to Lewis’s recent announcement of his Stage IV pancreatic cancer diagnosis. However, the news outlet mistakenly used a photo of Cummings, not Lewis, for its story.

Despite the apology, Twitter users were quick to condemn the apparent mistake.

“Unnacceptable [sic] & racist! CBS once again proves they’re #FakeNews,” one person wrote.

“First you do this to @RepCummings and now to @repjohnlewis ? You must do better. Unacceptable. Let’s face it. You would never mix up two old white guys,” another user commented.
