I'm right with ya. I've noticed I've been the same and have been forcing myself to get back to some old habits (exercise, meditation, etc.). These are the most important times in modern human history as what happens next changes the world forever one way or another. It's hard to not care....all the time. It's like the car crash everyone slows down to look at, you just can't help yourself.

Those of us that are in deep, meaning we have plunged so far down the rabbit hole, can't turn back. You can't unlearn what you know and when you get this far, it become a part of your life, sometimes a big one.

I check as much as possible here, it's always my first thought instead of working in the morning. I can't remember the last time I worked before reading any daliy news in months. I hear your focus! (:

watched the health task force presser and then herd the radio news and what she said and the way she said it didn't resemble what I heard in the presser. Was a bizarre experience. They played just the right sound bites to make pence look bad and the whole group.

Sharpe issued a preliminary injunction Friday on behalf of two Catholic priests -- Steven Soos and Nicholas Stamos -- and a trio of Orthodox get lost congregants -- Elchanan Perr, Daniel Schonborn, and Mayer Mayerfeld -- in Brooklyn, represented by the Thomas More Society.

They filed the suit in the Northern District of New York after mass protests and looting occurred in the Big Apple following George Floyd's police-related death in May.

For the first time in history, the House of Representatives has approved a bill to make Washington, DC the 51st state.

The vote was 232-180

The House last voted on a DC statehood measure in 1993. But that bill was soundly defeated.

The Republicans should push to eliminate representation for DC. All of it came via land taken from adjacent states. Let's reinstate those old state lines and let people vote in the state in which their residence would have originally belonged.

That spreads out the swamp and eliminates DC other than as a zip code or codes covering the area. Federal lands could remain in the government's hands, but private land would revert back to the states.

A bit off topic. Maybe.
