Soros confident Trump will be 'transitory phenomenon'

Prominent Democratic donor George Soros said he is confident President Trump will be a "transitory phenomenon" in an interview with an Italian newspaper published Tuesday.

Soros, a Hungarian American, told Italy's La Repubblica his prediction for the upcoming election and the country in a wide-ranging interview for his 90th birthday, according to a translation by Market Watch.

"Even in the United States, a confidence trickster like Trump can be elected president and undermine democracy from within," he said. "But in the U.S. you have a great tradition of checks and balances and established rules. And above all you have the Constitution. So I am confident that Trump will turn out to be a transitory phenomenon, hopefully ending in November."

Ohhh, 'tis already ugly. I don't think that POTUS will lose the election at all... I just want the smoke cleared off of the battle field before the voting starts. Seeing is believing for most voters. If they don't see it, they won't know how to vote against it....

I hadn't seen anyone actually come out and say that YET. Not unexpected, just jarring to see for the first time in print.

She was born before they became citizens here, and went with her mother to Canada and stayed until she was older.

Her parents were not USA that by law makes her not qualified to be vice president because she would not qualify for president. She was born on the US soils, so she is a citizen of non-citizens at the time she was born. They became citizens a few yes later they decided to become citizens after she was born, they were here as visiting professors or something like that.

Her dad was the one who said this, I don't think they were getting along well at the time. She was running for president. Somehow being educated in Canada made her mix up the rule and laws in the USA.

Her dad said they owned slaves not were slaves. In Jamaica their family were slave owners. Her mom is from India her dad is from Jamaica.
