Rosemont seems to be a reference to an area known as "Rose Hill," which is directly east of Seneca Lake, within a village called Fayette. So, you have Geneva as the key village on the northernmost tier of the lake, and Fayette as a second village to the east.

The Rosemont reference is to Robert Rose, a Virginia farmer who migrated to upstate New York in 1802 and developed a farm on what he called "Rose Hill." Later, the Swan family purchased the property and built a mansion. It became known as the Rose Hill Mansion and still exists today, but it is now a historic home museum that acquired listing as a National Historic Landmark in 1986. You can read about it here:

In addition to the mansion, Rose Hill also was memorialized by a 56-acre amusement park that ran from 1925 to 1985 on the northern shore of Seneca Lake. It was known as Roseland Park.
