Well said. We have not even yet begun to scratch the surface of the evil that exists. Sure, we've seen horrible things, we know about child torture and sacrifice, cannibalism, murder, deceit, theft...these are all things of evil for sure. But this is not about politics, this is about every single individual on this planet realizing they are part of the problem.

I think the true awakening is when everyone realizes that the misery that we suffer is a result of our own unrighteousness.

Not trying to turn this in to a sermon, there are many that refuse to believe, even when they can see the reality of our undoing; so I wouldn't expect them to believe by faith alone.

This is going to get much worse before there is any relief. The only way to make it through this is to find the peace inside each of us so that you can live a life of spiritual freedom. Governments, tyrants and evil can have dominion over the physical realm, but your spiritual freedom and peace, a peace given to you by grace, cannot be taken away. That is where true freedom exists.

So, I'm to the point where all of this political stuff still matters but only as a means to continue to wake people up to the reality of God's truth. When the suffering becomes to much to bear, people will cry out to the Lord.
