Thread: Parallel Structures

My parallel structure is based on Kitselman's Hello Stupid. Kitselman suggested government should be based on wisdom, I feel adding compassion and service to others should be considered. He said it should or would require computers to run, mind you this was written in 62, as such I see it naturally compatible with the internet. He suggested it be implemented anywhere a vote might be taken such as in business or in a social club. I feel like it truly begins on the personal level and feel that whatever form it takes, it should flexible enough to be applied where ever we deem necessary. In my vision of it, I see it as a reprogramming of self to a more wise and compassionate way of life. Something that should elevate man as opposed to oppressing him.

I would suggest we seriously consider the extreme opposite of what we have in society today with the expectation as the pendulum swings, we find a more middle of the path way of living.

It may never make sense to us. Military op.
It may not play out well for all…..the end won’t be for everyone

It's an interesting topic.
Lots of things mentioned that I could comment on, but that's a lot of quoting.

I appreciate you jumping in, I respect your input.

So, I'll just add my thoughts as is.
I agree with the concept on principle. It's the application that makes me frown.

I understand, I too have my reservations. Kitselman, as interesting of a fellow as he is, has had some questionable comrades such as Huxley & Hubbard. However again I am looking at the message and not the messenger, though I have made a note to myself that I must read his other books, his E Therapy looks interesting.

How do you "fight/defeat" the system/government, by FORCING system/government activities (voting/guarantee of rights, censorship, regulation, etc) into every smallest aspect of your life and interaction with your fellow man?

Am not sure where you came up with the idea that anything would be forced, quite the contrary. I have always thought it would always be by consent, those who wished to participate would and those who did not would not. Hence the whole idea of being parallel. I would think one of the objectives to be to create a system that is more attractive to the 'common' man so that as it gains in notoriety, it just makes more sense to adopt the path.

The answer is, you don't.

You know this, I know this, I would expect those who would persue such an endeavor to know this as well. I have describe this idea as a sort of conscious re-programming of self. The system should be designed with these things in mind and the individual should be able to choose if he or she would participate and if so, to what degree.


Who's going to Wisely Rule Your Mind?
Why, the same AI in the computers Kitselman suggests should run everything, ie. make ALL your decisions. It's called Technocracy and is just a stepping stone to their goal of Trans-humanism.
You can add compassion into it until you're blue in the face. AI can not, and will never, develop human compassion, because it only has access to the logical.

I have posted that perhaps we need an independent parallel internet of sorts free of current control mechanisms, AI included. This I imagine would require not only the software to run the whole thing, which I have said as much here should be open sourced and taught to all who would learn, but also the infrastructure or backbone where it would be physically run on. In my ignorance, I have no idea if this is possible or if so how much it would cost. Which is why I am also open to exploring options to safeguard against all of the above within the current framework. Again, is it possible? Are the possible outcomes worse than what we have now?

Better to be Wise, without the mind control.
Then you'll understand, the things government/system mandates, are already common sense and come naturally to us.

Not sure I agree with current gov/sys mandates being anything of the sort such as polite, respectful. I would assume you mean we should not need gov/sys for these things and once again which I agree with.

I agree with you here, unfortunately common sense has been completely programmed out of the majority. They would not begin to understand or care what Natural Law is and quite frankly if we set these people free...

...in a situation where they have no guide as to what is wise, right or wrong, I think it is more than possible we end up with a scenario where the useful idiot's version of Anarchy is what we end up instead of what you or those who join you might intend, Natural Law.

Through true Anarchy/Non-Rulership, we will create so much abundance, more of everything that we might ever need in multiple lifetimes. We'll be creating things for our children's children and no longer scraping by, making a living for ourselves.

This is a noble endeavor, I always envisioned the end result of a government of the wise to itself become evident that there is no need of money, that we would all be raised up as we would have a running guide as to how to live a wise, compassionate and loving life. A result that if we were actually a quarantined planet as many claim, perhaps this endeavor raises up the species so that we are allowed to venture off in search of or participate with our cosmic family.

I agree with everything you say here except I see a need to transition from where we are today, to where you would like us to be. I just do not see all the different races of our species being able to live in harmony without laying the foundations of how to get there. I feel it is folly to believe otherwise.

Sure, it's a dangerously divided environment and we all fear for our lives and all that. It took a long time, but we're so utterly mind-controlled (we all have triggers) that we can be shut down with a word.

I do not see how you expect so many mind controlled people to suddenly be un-mind controlled. This is where our views different, even if we have very similar end goals.

I agree about quitting their game, however a breakaway civilization is by its very nature a parallel structure. It implies there is still a civilization to break away from. How can you not see this?

Voluntary Contribution is what it's all about.
Entire towns, self-sufficient (in the basic necessities), free trade via barter, community specific contribution rewards (can be crypto, sea-shells, bottle caps), 8 hours per week service to the community in one of the various projects/industries/ventures while free to pursue your own in your free time.

We don't stop government.
We turn our backs on it.

All of this, parallel to what is currently available to us. You are on one hand dismissing the idea of parallel structure while with the other hand saying look over here, there is a better way. I applaud your efforts, perhaps we have more in common than you think. I realize I do not have all the answers, which is why I have been patiently biding my time waiting for the right opportunity to present Kitselman's suggestions again. Once the mass hypnosis video dropped which included the solution of parallel structures coupled with where we are in the world, I realized now was a good time.

Again I would ask you to not so quickly dismiss this idea, especially since you seem to already be following a similar path. I will most certainly be checking out your link to the manifesto as I can not help but feel these idea(l)s are parallel with positive intent.

This led me to places that are somewhat interesting, mind you I started with "It is 8 O'Clock in the morning and I am going to wake everyone up" the author's name, and it being the bases of where the movie "They Live" came from.

The story didn't fit the "They Live" to me, that should have been the TV series "V", only the story starts of with being hypnotized with others and they woke up and he really woke up and started seeing aliens that fed on people. It sounded more as if he was programmed real well. Then he heard sounds supposedly from the Alien real speaking language, except it was more of sounds, OBEY then he kills them, and more. At the end he dies from a program given to him, that he would die from a heart attack the next morning, he had told himself they were lying, yet he had a heart attack and died at the time given. Doesn't this make more sense than what came from the movie "They Live"? Of course, "They Live", they are not what he woke to see, what he woke to see and kill, didn't live.

It seems to me to fit the story much better. It was not the same story as The movie "They Live", of course the one who played the top role died at the end also, it is the narrative that changed, between his story, and the movie that was made said to be from his short story.
