Michael Sussmann has been indicted for lying to the FBI general counsel James Baker during a September 2016 meeting where he provided to Baker materials and information purported to link the Trump Organization with Russian entity Alfa Bank. In order to bolster the credibility of his claims, Sussmann told Baker he was acting on his own and not for any clients.

This was a lie – Sussmann was acting on behalf of a tech executive and the Hillary Clinton campaign. According to Special Counsel John Durham, Sussmann would repeat this lie on February 9, 2017 to two employees of another government agency (“Agency-2” in the indictment; possibly CIA).

The more interesting parts of the Sussmann indictment have to do with the orchestrated effort by Sussmann, the Clinton Campaign, a tech executive (identified as Rodney Joffe), their team of partisan researchers, and Fusion GPS to smear the Trump Organization – and thus candidate Trump – as having a “purported secret channel of communications” with Alfa Bank (a Russian bank). The highlights include:

E-mails among the Tech Executive and the researchers stating how “it would be possible to “fill out a sales form on two websites, faking the other company’s email address in each form,’ and thereby cause them ‘to appear to communicate with each other in DNS.’”

Internal doubts about the Trump Organization/Alfa Bank allegations: “we cannot technically make any claims that would fly public scrutiny.”

Concerns over disclosing how they came to their conclusions: “Do you realize that we will have to expose every trick in our bag to even make a very weak association?”

I sound as if they changed part of it, because it was a detailed announcement from the hospital they said at the time, they mentioned the time, and what happened to her, and this being the time of her death. I was the same as any announcement of other famous people who have died.

It also made me think about the symbolism of the soccer ball Putin handed off to Trump, when he said "that will go to my son Baron, we have no question" then tossed it down to Melania. With the design on the ball being mostly light with black/red cubes fading away, I get the sense that it represented the world finally being united against evil, coupled with the certainty that we would hand it down to our children in better shape.

Haiti is a very troubled place now, and I can understand wanting to escape it. Look at some of Haiti's history. There have been better times and who is to blame for the horrid conditions. Who has exploited that country. WHO is getting the Haitians to the South central and South American countries where they then make their way to the US? Poor and desperate people are easy to make into weapons against a country's sovereignty.

CDC has the legal authority to detain any person who may have an infectious disease that is specified by Executive Order to be quarantinable. If necessary, CDC can deny ill persons with these diseases entry to the United States. CDC also can have them admitted to a hospital or confined to a home for a certain amount of time to prevent the spread of disease.

Been having to be a Covid doc to my family. It's been pretty stressful. Mom, brother and sister all at the same time. Mom followed instructions starting on day three and got better with a total of 12 days. She's in her 80's so I hit her with everything, and she came out fine. Brother wouldn't do the protocols until day six and then didn't do it fully, just a little here and there. Sister, same thing. They both ended up having to go to the hospital for oxygen and steroids. They're getting better now though.

So it got crazy and I couldn't keep up with things here.

A furious mounted Border Patrol officer was filmed shouting at an illegal Haitian migrant who appeared to push women in between himself and the horse for protection.

The unnamed guard is heard to shout, 'You use your women like this? That's why your country's sh*t' at the man during the encounter along the border between Acuna in Mexico and in Del Rio in Texas on Monday.

It is unclear who the migrant was, or whether the women he was with were relatives in the clip shared by Al Jazeera amid President's Biden latest border disaster.
