Actually, President Trump was the first to say “The cure can’t be worse than the disease”. It was when the whole shit storm began and the talk about shut downs began.

As for “once you go woke you go broke”, I don’t have any idea who in particular started it but I remember seeing it in a meme a result of big corporations going woke who were then losing money because people began boycotting them.

However, there’s a woke saying that’s even better than that and the honor once again goes to our President Trump from one of his more recent rallies: “Everything woke turns to shit”!!
