Watching Juan can be exasperating. I'm convinced that any effective communicator could easily say in five minutes what takes an hour for Juan to say. That happened to me! It was right before the bell rang to start the day in my home room my sophomore year. 2 of our basketball players did the honors and I laughed so much and so did the class! My home room teacher wasn’t so amused...

TPTB don’t know how to genuinely laugh and to not take themselves so seriously. The 2 basic emotions are love and fear. They don’t know how to love so the run their lives (and ruin ours) according to their fears.

I hope they aren’t honking their horns while on that bridge! Musicians in parades always stop playing when we cross a bridge. Many don’t know why, but in 1831 there was a military regiment that marched across a bridge in England and the vibrations did cause it come down. Luckily none were killed but there were about 21 who were injured.

Perhaps that’s where the old song we used to sing as kiddies came from “London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down…”?

I just attended a meeting with other concerned citizens yesterday and this was a topic of our discussion. We are finding that kids are not learning in schools, curriculum is only about 20-30% of the day, when the other 70% is the kids are taking 'surverys'. So we are discovering parents are not in the know on this stuff and what opt out or have to opt in options there are for parents and students! No wonder so many kids can't read, write or do simple math!

So disturbing. We have stats reflecting in our state, about 25% of kids have not come back to public school, so the assumption is they are being home schooled. Sure hope that is what that represents! Our entire state budget spends about 75% of it all on education and we have TERRIBLE stats on the roi!
