Did anyone watch sarah's presser.

It's a disgrace, she had on the guy who sends everyone to the senate for votes. The guy said, at the rate chunky and company are obstructing, it would take eleven years before all the President's nominees were finally approved! Eleven Years!

And he gave a list of 4 folks who have been waiting 298 days to be confirmed, two hundred and ninety eight days! And these were only the ones necessary for our national security!

It's worth listening to, the man was clear as a bell and well spoken and had a boatload of facts.

I almost think someone who is on twitter should start @298 days to bring this out to the general public.

And then, when he took questions, they all cut away! It was maddening because this guy was smart and interesting and wanted to hear the questions they asked him. They're all getting sloppy with sarah's pressers, they almost always miss the initial statement and I'm beginning to wonder if this is by design. After all by the numbers, the ratings she does real well and it must drive them nuts.

It was worth watching him speak Marc Short, White House Director of Legislative Affairs he starts shortly after the 25 min mark. He speaks for approx 15 mins.

He quoted (79) Cloture votes by the Dems in the first 14 months of this admin.

He quoted saying this # 79 was NOT reach in several previous Admins together, wow.

Meaning of a Cloture Vote

The cloture rule–Rule 22–is the only formal procedure that Senate rules provide for breaking a filibuster. A filibuster is an attempt to block or delay Senate action on a bill or other matter. Under cloture, the Senate may limit consideration of a pending matter to 30 additional hours of debate.
