So if a human was cloned, would the clone have a soul? Could that clone be occupied by a "wandering soul"?

Any change in the DNA of the twin would not be useful to a person for transplanting. Only thing would be somehow transferring a brain to the new body, don't think that is possible. So, do not think a clone is soulless, it just a different type of twinning of a person. Their family would be the father of the first twin, the one the cells came from. It delayed twin that all. Another human being which make any of the rumors a horror show to, the Island movie would be more like what would be going on.

Cloning is not going to be the person who is cloned except DNA which is not the same person. As I said, it artificial twining, creating a twin of the the person. Recently they announced creating sperm form what I would call the host body, where the cells are taken from, you add these to the to the forming of the splitting cells it creates the whole person. How they themselves were created from a mother and a fathers cells. The person who gives the cell material did not come out by one group of cell it took to people to make them as for their DNA.
I think this other business about other people like Ruth Ginsburg, and others are different look a likes which have been used for a very long time. Clones are twins of the person, using more of the real DNA would form a closer Clone or twin. This is what cloning is, twinning cause their cell to divide to another person with their DNA a twin. When you create more of their on DNA into the Twin clone, then it would be more viable, also they would be their own person, I do not care what they intended them to be, they would be another living person who would need to be protected from monsters.
Would their existence be their fault, heck no, it would be the monsters doing it. They may want them for parts, or just to know they have another them, that will make choices they did not make. I have no idea why they would want to do this, to me it evil as in their intent is evil to begin with, it also kind of self centered to do this, if it just to know they have a twin growing to be out in the world. Like I said, that twin will never be them, they will have the same DNA and the same tendency to have sets of skills of the first, not necessarily using them, those maybe something not used by the twinned one.
From some other research I do not think twins are necessary for spare parts now, they found out the liver has all the cells to create all part of the body. You could call this the holy grail of growing parts int he lab instead of using other people parts that are not as good as your own grown just for you. This discovery is one of the top ones found in recent years, they been growing parts just that they were not stable and cause problems using them in different medical experiments. The liver is the one thing as to organs that can regrow itself, now they know it has the other cells in it, as blue print type thing as the best way to put it.
Growing skin for burn victims is similar, and they been working to do the same for body parts all from the person who need the part grown. So, this would be the best thing for many people it could make a lot of people whole again or for the first time.
They never really need aborted babies for medical, the true research help came from the person own cells and these have been the best help of all. Now their liver is the answer and that kind of funny, Take care of you livers people.
