Maybe they were annoyed that he didn't use the presidential limo to drive there like he did the first time? Maybe they had something planned that was thwarted by him using the helicopter? Or, maybe there's something about the helicopter that it made the marks? Maybe other helicopters haven't made the marks? It seems odd she'd comment on it unless she was asking, "what kind of helicopter is it that it made scorch marks, no other helicopter has made scorch marks? And maybe he came running over to look cause maybe they're wondering if it's powered in a different way that it would get that hot? But interesting she chose to tell this to who she told it?

In other words, could it be some kind of a clue?
