I could not understand why Pres would let Bolton into the WH for anything. I never thought much of Bolton. He would have us fighting with everyone if he could.

Bolton has always been extremely hawkish on the ME. POTUS may have wanted the extreme viewpoint to ultimately center his policies. ...

Trump doesn't seem the type to me, that he would need a hawk to center his policies. I think there are other reasons, like I mentioned before, why Bolton was around. One way to not repeat mistakes is to get input from someone who has made repeated mistakes...then, you can rule that option out. :) ^^^forgot to log in.
