Stolen by forcing every last vote, every hanging chad to be counted? That sounds more like forcing a FAIR count of the vote. It sounds more like election fraud was STOPPED by that recount.
I remember that election—Gore was taking bows as the new president of the US even before all the results were in—and obviously thought Florida was a done deal. Even though no one else did. And it seems “obvious” to so many that JEB fixed the vote? Not that GORE thought his own party had fixed the vote for him in Florida?
It is my opinion that the Republicans UN-fixed the vote, much to Gore’s chagrin. I doubt we’ve had a real, fair election in 60 years.
KB, sorry—I didn’t mean to sound snippy. But I’m old enough for that to be a real hot button for me. My family at the time was very involved in politics. Those were the days when the old people like me first woke up to the fact that in our elections, nothing was what it seemed.

When Clinton won the Presidency Bush said "Was I the only sob that thought I would win this election?" George Sr. was a little miffed at his group because he thought they didn't believe in him 100% He was surprised .... and some of them were not. So, Gore becomes VP. Twice.
It seems to me that when he ran, Gore was not the choice for Pres by those who were really making the decisions .... possibly because the ME was on a schedule that Gore may not have been completely behind. Gore was way more interested in getting the Climate Change farce made into the next religious movement (and the millions he stood to make by extorting the world's fears.) Sooo along comes Baby Bush. Personally I do not think he ever really wanted to be Pres and his Daddy made him do it.
This is a slightly different schedule than what it turned out to be but it shows the planning that goes into a long range idea of the DS. I am sure now that this plan is not going to roll out in its originality because the DS can not get Trump on board with destroying this country.
