I just saw what Wikipedia said about the house of representatives which is never called in any way a parliament, which is a whole different type of government under a democracy. We are a Republic and not a democracy and our rules are different.. We have rules about setting rules, and they have to go by the constitution and the democrats are proving they do not see the constitution and rule of law as anything to think about. Every member of congress both democrat and republican has a right to be involved either high or low man in congress. It not a dictatorship. If I was in congress as a democrat, Pelosi would not be my house leader. She is also cutting out the democrats that what to fix things and forcing them to agree even if they disagree with what she and other are doing.

No, I would not be lead by a little petty dictator. She would not allow the democrats or republicans except for a few, during the healthcare vote which turned into a debacle to even put forward legislation to correct problems in the bill. They were cut of every time, I am not speaking of just republicans at the time, it was all congress except her and a few not more than four to have any say, not even in the conference leading up to it. They had to vote blind to the will of the leader. These are the democrats that were will to work with the republicans to fix the bills so they would not over tax the people with something that made more money going out than coming in.
