I read this last week.
Quoting: hankie This is a new fall. He fell the other week also. The third fall this year. I think they said he broke his hip, he should have had help at his age. He also hit his head if I am not mistaken and some other smaller injuries, at his age this is not good. 75% of people over 65, die within a year after breaking their hip! Pretty sad statistic! My mom was in her 80s when she broke her hip, she did great, healed up fast. We were surprised she lived a good 10 years after that surgery.
